New Stacks, Updates And Updates to Updates!!
Its has been a while since I have posted which is a good thing and bad thing. Its bad because a lot of users have been left in the dark as to what updates have come out. While I have remained active in posting all updates to the RW Forums, not everyone follows them as religiously as I. However, on the flip side, I have released a ton of amazing new stacks and updates to stacks in the past few weeks. This takes my total number of plugin to over 30!! (32 to be exact) How cool is that!?! You may have also noticed my newly redesigned Product Page. I have gotten a lot of great feedback on it. It actually has seemed to have an affect on sales too! I can’t complain there! 
Now let’s get this party started…
New Stacks
CMS/CSS Stacks
Let your imagination and creative juices run wild with these stacks. With the ability to override the class, title, id and style tags the sky is the limit with how you can customize your stacks pages. These stacks easily integrate with online CMS systems. They all work out of the box with both CushyCMS and SurrealCMS. However, these stacks can be easily customizable to work with any online CMS systems such as PageLime and many others.
Curtain Call Stack
Curtain Call uses JQuery and Easing in order to open curtains and reveal something special behind them. The curtain and rope images are fully customizable. When you click on the rope, the curtains open to reveal anything you want: text, images, media, etc.
Lightbox Stack
The Lightbox Stack is a shadow box on steroids. While the default background is beautiful, is it customizable. The contents can be what ever you want, just drag whatever stacks you want in there! The launch link is also extremely customizable. It allows you to have any stack you want. I think an image stack works perfectly in this situation!
Link Stack
The Link stack is a very simple stack that basically turns any stack into a hover link to a defined URL. This is very useful for turning image stacks into link (such as the shopping cart above.) This stack is currently available as a FREE download.
Offsite Stack
The Offsite stack gives you the ability to display the contents of an external website on your Rapidweaver site. The stack accomplishes this through an iframe. The common issues with iframes are that it is difficult to dynamically adjust the height. The Offsite Stack does its best job at trying to figure out the desired height. However, there is a fallback method which does allow the user to manually resize the iframe.
Getting your tweets onto your Rapidweaver site has never been easier with these Twitter stacks. The first two stack above are beautiful looking stacks and the look and feel is fully customizable. The HTML List stack allows you to determine how exactly you want to display your tweets. Since the output is straight HTML, it can easily be customized with some CSS. The final stack is another profile stack that utilizes Flash.
New Updates
The Quicktime Stack had a bug with the settings HUD for the checkboxes. The Show Controls options were not very reliable. The next issue implements a workaround in order to bypass a common issue flash object and z-index
The YouTube Video Bar Stack got a couple small improvements. It now allows for random video selection as well as improved methods of streaming the videos you want
The CushyCMS Stack has been retired. It is being replaced by the new CMS/CSS stacks
New Product Page Design
If you have not noticed yet, I have a new design for my product home page as well as the for the individual products as well. The old version was very wordy, cluttered, and just not a joy to look at. The new versions are simpler, more attractive alternatives that are much easier read and navigate. I will be slowly upgrading the old product pages to the new formats. My new pages and products are also sporting a bunch of new icons from no other than Elixir Graphics!
