Fancy Image Stacks Overview

The following is a full list of all of the available Fancy Image Stacks:

Caption Stack

The Image Caption Stack is the simplest stack in this set. There are no fancy effects and no javascript. However, the stack does allow you to place a text caption below your images. It gives you are similar effect as an Image Stack with a Text Stack below it. Although, since this is all within the same stack, the text will be much closer to your image, making it look like a true caption should.

360 Degree Stack

The Image 360 Degree Stack allows you to show off your products with a 360 degree view. As you hover your mouse over the image, it will rotate around to showcase all angles of the product. This is accomplished through combining multiple images in a sequence and rotate through them.

Hover Stack

This stack contains a text background with an image cover. When the mouse hovers over the image, the background and text are revealed. This stack supports the FadeOut and Slide effects.

Hover Image Stack

This stack contains an image background with an image cover. When the mouse hovers over the image, the background image is revealed. This stack supports the FadeOut and Slide effects. (The fadeout effect is very cool here!)

Hover Popup Stack

This stack contains an image background with a caption that pops up when the mouse hovers over. This stack allows a portion of the caption to always be shown as well as the ability to hide the entire caption.

Puzzle Stack

The Image Puzzle Stack is a really fun stack that allows you to turn any image into puzzle like above. The puzzles are very easy to play, just click on the square you would like to move. The puzzle also keep track of how many moves you have done and how long it took you. This stack works great as a marketing tool for you website by letting your customers have a little fun!

Reflection Stack

The Image Reflection Stack provides an elegant reflection to your images. Drag and drop and instant reflection. It could not be easier!

Revealer Stack

The Image Reveal Stack gives you show a portion of a larger image and with the click of a mouse, reveal the full image.

Zoom Stack

The Image Zoom Stack gives you’re a great effect of zooming the image from a thumbnail to the full version by simply clicking on the image.

Lightbox Stack

The Image Lightbox Stack gives you the ability to create lightbox galleries with the flexibility of allowing you to place you images anywhere you want on the page. It provides navigation controls within the lightbox that make it simple to click through the images in the gallery.

Magnify Stack

The Image Magnify Stack is an amazing stack that allows you to hover over an image and have a magnified version of it appear. You can then navigate over the image and watch the magnified version move along with your mouse.

Many of you may know that I spent this past week in Toronto on a consulting engagement. I normally bring my Canon 50D and one or two lenses so that I can take some pictures during the evenings after I leave the office. Well this time around I thought I would do something a little different! I thought it would be interesting to use my iPhone 3G not just to take pictures but edit them as well. That’s right! Every photo on this post was taken, edited and uploaded to Flickr entirely on my iPhone 3G.(Note: I know iPhone 3Gs has a much better camera. It would have been very nice to have for this experiment. Oh well. I also wish I had the new Canon 7D. WOW! Isn’t that a sweet camera!!! I was hoping for full frame though. OK, lets get back to the subject at hand….)

I have armed my iPhone 3G with the following apps:

Camera

Default iPhone Camera (I miss ProCamera!! Apple, please approve v2.0 for iPhone OS 3.0!!! Please!!!)

Photo Editing

101 Photo Filters by MacPhun

HDR Camera by MacPhun

ColorSplash by ????

CameraBag by NeverCenter

Photogene by Omer Shoor

Photo FX by Tiffen

Flickr Upload

Darkslide by Connected Flow

As all of you probably know, the iPhone’s camera is ok for what is it, however, I don’t expect to take gorgeous pictures with it as I would with my DSLR. Therefore my plan what to use the iPhone editing software to get creative. I have to say that I am very pleased with how many of the shots turned out. Have a look at the photos below. Please make sure to leave comments and let me know what you think. Which one is your favorite?

I started my trek of creating a blog back in 2006 while I lived in London. Back then I was completely new to Mac and was using iWeb. It worked very well for me and it was a piece of cake to use. Believe it or not, I actually wrote regular blogs for about 8 or 9 months. However, when I moved back to California, I wanted to take things to the next level. So I purchased Rapidweaver, setup a few ugly (and I mean ugly) versions of my site and basically procrastinated, aaaaand procrastinated…. Fast forward 2 years and 2 more kids later….I now have a decent website (thx to Rapidweaver) and integrated a blog (Wordpress of course). I plan on writing about various topics that I love….

Business & Real Estate

I started a new company, TruEdge Real Estate Solutions, with my best friend Amar last year. It has been a huge undertaking and great learning experience. I plan on writing about the challenges and learning experiences that we have with rehabbing properties, dealing with banks, general real estate market analysis and marketing (both traditional & technical.)

Technology

I love everything techie; whether its a cool gadget or coding programs. And as you can tell from this site, I started an online store selling plugins for Rapidweaver and YourHead Stacks Plugins. So you will definitely be seeing posts on my latest development projects, etc. I get a lot of requests to teach people how to do things, so you may start to see me writing a bunch of tutorials as well.

Photography

Like a lot of other techies, I love photography. So you will see me posting some of my favorite pictures that I take and writing about photo editing, software, and camera toys/gadgets.

Life

Last and definitely NOT least is my family. I have 3 wonderful kids (Joshua, Jacob & Jessica) and gorgeous, extremely awesome wife (Francsica). You will probably see me write a few posts about certain “Life” things, vacations, funny kids stuff. Who doesn’t love funny kids’ stuff!

I have several rss feeds based on the categories listed above so that you can subscribe to the posts that you would most likely care to read.

Thank you very much for taking the time to come to my blog! As always, please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you out.

Cheers,
Joe
