What Happened to GetSatisfaction?
Many people have noticed that I recently stopped using GetSatisfaction. I have been receiving many alarming emails wondering the reasons behind the move. This is most likely alarming because I have developed GetSatisfaction Stacks and Snippets for Rapidweaver.
Today I want to go over what I liked and disliked about GetSatisfaction. Then I will get into the reasons as to why I decided to stop using their service.
GetSatisfaction.com & New Stacks Plugins
I recently signed up for a company account over at GetSatisfaction.com and wanted to integrate their services into my website. Its been working out awesome. If you look at the bottom of each product page you will see that there is a Feedback widget that allows you to do one of four actions:
1. Add an “Idea” for a new product or feature.
2. Ask a “Question” about an existing product.
3. Submit a “Problem” about a product that you are experiencing.
4. Give “Praise” for a product that you are using.
The widget also allows you to see topics form other customers that have been recently submitted. GetSatisfaction.com really allows you to start to build a community around your website.
