This year was my first coaching my son’s U8 soccer team, the Scorpions. It has been a great experience and have been really enjoying it. I have been amazed at the improvements my players have had in just 3 games (and 2 months practice.) Yesterday the boys were playing awesome! They are spreading out more; the blob of players moving across the field in unison after the ball is mostly gone. I have to what impressed me the most is the passing. I saw a few beautiful cross field passes! They are really starting to play like a team. Well I hope you enjoy a few photos from yesterday’s game…

My oldest boy Joshua had a huge milestone last night. He rode his bike without training wheels for the first time! Believe it or not but the video below was only his second attempt!
